Cũng là tên khai sinh. Bút danh khác: Đỗ Thái Ninh, Đỗ Song Văn

Sinh ngày 6 tháng 2 năm 1951. Quê quán: Nam Hồng, Nam Trực, Nam Định. Trưởng ban biên tập Văn nghệ Trẻ báo Văn nghệ. Hiện thường trú tại: tổ 14 phường Lĩnh Nam, Hà Nội. Vào Hội năm 1997.

Học Đại học Sư phạm khoa văn. Dạy học từ 1972 đến 1978 tại Hải Phòng. 1979-1980: học trên đại học Khoa Văn chuyên ngành văn hoá dân gian. Từ 1981 về công tác tại tuần báo Văn nghệ.

* Tác phẩm: Một lời yêu (thơ, 1992); Năm bông hồng trắng (thơ, 1996); Một mình đi trong mưa (2004).
